TRENDS home products are covered by a 5-Year Guarantee provided by Bradley Stewart International Limited. To ensure you get the best from your product and to protect your guarantee, we highly recommend following the instructions for use and care, which you can find on our website under “PRODUCT CARE GUIDE.” Please refer to our website at www.theknifestore.co.uk.

The terms and conditions of the 5-Year Guarantee are further outlined below:

To qualify for the full 5-Year Guarantee, products must be registered with Bradley Stewart International Limited within 14 days of receipt. This registration requirement is clearly outlined within the product packaging and instructions upon delivery. Failure to register within this timeframe will limit the warranty coverage to the first 12 months from the original date of purchase, as per the terms outlined in this document.

What It Covers The 5-Year Guarantee constitutes a warranty that the product is free from defects in workmanship, materials, or abnormal deterioration when used in strict accordance with our “Care and Use Instructions” and under normal domestic use conditions during the Warranty Period. This warranty applies solely to products used for their intended purpose in non-commercial, residential environments. Any claims under this warranty must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase. The assessment and determination of any defect or abnormality covered by this warranty remain at the sole discretion of Bradley Stewart International Limited.

  • This warranty does not cover cosmetic imperfections or minor irregularities that do not affect functionality.
  • Bradley Stewart International Limited reserves the right to request the return of the product for inspection before approving a claim.
  • This warranty provides for repair or replacement only and excludes any compensation for incidental or consequential damages unless prohibited by law.

 

What It Does Not Cover The 5-Year Guarantee does not cover defects or damage to the product caused by:

  • Improper Use: Failure to follow our “Care and Use Instructions,” including improper cleaning methods, exposure to harsh chemicals, or misuse beyond the product’s intended purpose.
  • Neglect or Modification: Damage resulting from neglect, unauthorized alterations, or modifications to the product.
  • Extreme Conditions: Exposure to extreme temperatures, prolonged exposure to moisture, or direct contact with open flames or other heat sources.
  • Non-Domestic Use: Use in commercial, industrial, or non-domestic settings.
  • Theft or Loss: Replacement of products lost or stolen.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: Minor scratches, surface markings, or other cosmetic changes from regular use that do not affect functionality. The non-stick coating is susceptible to scratching under normal use. This kind of wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.
  • Shipping Variations: Minor imperfections such as surface markings or slight colour variations that may occur during shipping or manufacturing and do not impact the product's performance.

 

Warranty Period The 5-Year Guarantee begins on the original date of purchase and is valid for a period of 5 years from that date. Replacement of the product or any part thereof under this warranty does not reset or extend the original warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser with proof of purchase.

  • This warranty does not cover products purchased second-hand or through unauthorized resellers.
  • Claims made after the warranty period will not be honoured, regardless of when the defect or fault became apparent.
  • Any repairs or replacements made under warranty are provided as a goodwill gesture and do not imply an extension or renewal of the original warranty terms.

Repair or Replacement If your claim is deemed valid, Bradley Stewart International Limited reserves the sole discretion to determine whether to repair or replace the product. In cases where an identical replacement product is unavailable, Bradley Stewart International Limited may provide a replacement product with equivalent features and specifications, as reasonably determined by the company. The value of the replacement product will not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

Please note that the decision to repair or replace the product is final and based on the availability of comparable products and components. Repairs or replacements provided under this warranty do not extend or restart the original warranty period.
